Artist Statement
My work uses light as a material to create spaces that sit between memory and fantasy.
I build environments, objects, and performances where bodies in motion shape the experience — through color, reflection, and structure. Working across installation, sculpture, and performance, I’m interested in how light can hold presence, distort perception, and construct entire worlds.

Arwa is a Los Angeles–based artist working with light, space, and movement.
With a background in real-time and spatial design, she has worked on large-scale interactive & immersive experiences including Walt Disney Imagineering, The MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, & Meta.
She holds a master’s in Design Engineering from MIT Media Lab and a BA from Yale University.
